These studies in digital fabrication were done as a series of projects conducted within an advanced digital fabrication elective course in the fall of 2009. Students in the course explored various parametric modeling programs and softwares to interface with the CNC-mill and 7-axis robot. We also explored a variety of unique materials that highly influenced the designs of these studies. The final set of studies in this series led up to the design for the 'pinchwall' installation.
